Frequently asked questions

How much waste should I plan for?

About 10 % for a straight layout in a regular room, 15 % or more for a diagonal layout, many cuts or large tiles that break easily.

Why do joints matter?

Each tile covers its own size plus the joint. With large joints or small tiles, joints noticeably reduce the number of tiles needed.

Should I keep spare tiles?

Yes: keep a few from the same batch for future repairs, because shades can vary between production batches.
