Privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

In short

You can use every PRAXAO tool without an account. We do not ask for your name or e-mail, we do not sell data, and our audience statistics are anonymous by default.

Who is responsible

The publisher of PRAXAO (PRAXAO) is responsible for the processing described here. You can reach us at service@praxao.com.

Data you enter in the tools

Calculators run in your browser. Your last inputs and document drafts are saved in your browser’s local storage so you do not lose your work; they never leave your device unless you act.

When you download an invoice or quote as PDF, its content (including the logo you chose) is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which builds the PDF and returns it immediately. The document is not stored and is not written to our logs.

Accounts (optional)

An account is never required. If you create one, we store your e-mail address, an optional name, your language, a securely hashed password (never the password itself) and what you choose to save: company profiles and logos, clients, invoices and quotes, and calculations. This data is used only to provide the service to you and is never shared or sold.

We send only service e-mails (address confirmation, password reset, subscription confirmation). Paid plans are billed by PayPal; we keep the subscription reference, plan, status and dates.

You can download all your data (JSON) and delete your account at any time from the account settings; deletion is immediate and cancels any active subscription.

Audience measurement

To improve the tools we count page views and tool usage (for example “VAT calculator opened”, “PDF generated”). Without your consent, no cookie or identifier is stored on your device: our server derives a code from your connection that changes every day and cannot be reversed, so visits cannot be linked from one day to the next. Your IP address is never stored.

If you accept audience measurement, a random identifier is kept in your browser to recognise returning visits. You can withdraw this consent at any time from “Cookie settings”; the identifier is then deleted.

We honour the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals: when your browser sends them, no statistics are recorded at all.

Detailed events are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.

Advertising

Some pages may display ads served by Google AdSense, always labelled “Advertisement”. Ads are loaded only after you accept advertising cookies. Google then acts as an independent controller: see how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors who supported PRAXAO do not see ads for the thank-you period, in the browser used for the contribution.

Voluntary contributions

Contributions are processed by PayPal, which receives your payment details under its own privacy policy. PRAXAO only stores the amount, currency, date, language and PayPal transaction references, for accounting and to prevent fraud, for as long as accounting law requires. A random code is saved in your browser to hide ads during the thank-you period; only its fingerprint is kept on our side.

Security and technical logs

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Server logs record the requested path, the time and the result, without IP address or query parameters. To block abuse, short-lived counters are keyed with an irreversible code derived from the connection and are erased within two days.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you (for example the GDPR in Europe or law 09-08 in Morocco), you can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, object to its processing or withdraw your consent. As we hold almost no identifying data, we may need details (such as a PayPal transaction reference) to find it. Contact service@praxao.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Hosting and transfers

PRAXAO is hosted by CapConnect. Google and PayPal may process data outside your country under the safeguards described in their policies.

We will update this page when our processing changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
