How to use it

  2. Enter the dimensions and the number of identical items.
  3. Replace the starting values (profile widths, bar length, gap, module width) with your supplier’s data.
  4. Read the bars, boards or cabinets to order, with the waste included.

Frame profile: 8.80 m, 2 bars. Sash profile: 11.60 m, 3 bars. Glass: 4 panes, 1.58 m² with waste.

Frequently asked questions

Does it design the windows?

No. It counts what a set of dimensions requires. Profile series, thermal performance, wind resistance, glazing build-up and hardware come from the manufacturer’s data and the joiner’s drawings.

Why can I edit the profile width, the bar length or the module width?

They depend on the system and the maker you choose. The values shown are only starting points, never a manufacturer’s reference.

How are boards counted?

Each board covers its width plus the gap, over its length. The area is increased by the waste percentage, then divided by what one board covers, rounded up to whole boards.
